Skincare Marketing: AI Posts, Ads & UGC Videos for Skincare Brands

Skincare sells on texture, routine and trust. Show the product moving on real skin in daylight, explain where it goes in a routine, and word claims as cosmetic, not medical. Belova imports your catalog, learns your brand from your site, and makes posts, ads and UGC videos where an AI actor holds your bottle.

What skincare content actually sells on social media?

Nobody can touch your product through a screen, so the content has to do the touching. Rotate five repeatable formats:

  • Texture: the scoop, a swatch on the back of a hand, and how it looks a minute later in daylight.
  • Routine order: the step before and after your product.
  • Ingredients: one per post, why it's there, and the percentage if you disclose it.
  • Real bathrooms: an ordinary sink, not a marble plinth.
  • Range: the same product on three skin tones, same light, no filter.

How do you word skincare claims so they stay cosmetic?

Describe what the product does to the look and feel of skin, not to the body. "Hydrates", "smooths the look of rough patches" and "skin feels softer" are cosmetic. In the US, the FDA says intended use, including what your ads and website claim, decides whether a product is a cosmetic or a drug; claims to regenerate cells, change melanin production or treat acne make it a drug.

Keep an approved-claims list in the exact wording your testing supports and start every caption, script and ad from it. Brazil, the EU and India each have their own cosmetic rules.

Which skincare offers work without training people to wait for sales?

Bundle routines instead of cutting single-product prices, and make trying cheap.

  • A routine trio at a set price, shown in the order of use.
  • A trial size credited against the full size within 30 days.
  • Refills priced below the first bottle.
  • Reorder reminders timed to how long a bottle lasts at the recommended amount; measure it in-house.
  • A sample of the next routine step in every order, with a QR code to the how-to video.

How does Belova help a skincare brand?

Belova imports your product catalog from your website and builds a Brand DNA from your site or Instagram: logo, colours, fonts, tone and audience. Put INCI lists and approved claims in the knowledge base so drafts start from wording you've cleared.

It makes image ads, posts and routine carousels in your style, plus 8, 15 or 30-second UGC videos where an AI actor holds your actual bottle and explains it, captioned, in Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic or any of 30+ languages. Publish or schedule to Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and eight more networks. Plans start at $20 a month.

Skincare ad rules on Meta, Google and beyond

Meta exempts non-permanent beauty products such as creams and make-up from its 18+ rule, but bans statements of inferiority about appearance and ads for whitening or bleaching products that permanently change skin colour. Meta's compliant example is "Our new lotion and creams fight wrinkles like never before!" and its rejected one is "Ready to upgrade your skin to look younger?" Talk about the product, not the viewer's skin.

Google's unreliable claims policy rejects ads that present an improbable result as the likely outcome. The UK's ASA warns against filters that exaggerate what a cosmetic can do, and India's ASCI guidelines say skin-lightening ads must not show darker skin as unattractive or at a disadvantage.

  • Meta: Health and wellness
  • Meta: Privacy violations and personal attributes
  • Google Ads: Unreliable claims
  • ASA: Beauty filters in cosmetics ads
  • ASCI: Code and guidelines
  • FDA: Is it a cosmetic, a drug, or both?

Frequently asked questions

What's the best skincare marketing strategy for a small brand?

Pick one hero product and build a month around it: texture, routine order, single ingredients, real bathrooms, different skin tones. Sell it in a routine bundle with a trial size.

Can AI UGC videos show my actual skincare product?

Yes. Belova's AI actor holds your product, from your catalog or photos, and speaks your script with captions in 30+ languages, in 8, 15 or 30-second versions.

Can skincare brands run before-and-after ads on Meta?

Meta allows before-and-after transformations for cosmetic products and procedures in ads targeted to people 18 or older that don't put down anyone's appearance. The ASA and ASCI also object to images retouched beyond what the product does.

How do I stop AI captions from making medical claims?

Add your approved wording and a never-say list (treats, cures, heals, removes) to Belova's knowledge base, then read every caption before scheduling. The brand, not the tool, answers for the claim.

Is there a free plan?

No. Plans start at $20 a month (₹499 in India). You can try the free UGC script, hook, caption and ad copy generators at /tools first.
